报告人简介：
Associate Professor, Texas A&M AgriLife Research at Amarillo, USA. The overall goal of Dr. Xue’s current research program is to provide selection tools for breeders and geneticists and management tools for agronomists and producers, through better understanding the physiological mechanisms of crop performance under stress conditions. Dr. Xue has conducted research on crop stress physiology and ecology, crop water use, and water use efficiency (WUE) in semi-arid environment for over 25 years. Recent accomplishments are mainly focused on wheat and corn drought tolerance, limited irrigation management, and increase WUE in the Texas High Plains. Published 52 journal articles and 5 book chapters. Currently, Dr. Xue serve as leader of U.S.-Sino Agricultural Research Community in American Society of Agronomy and president-elect of the Association of Chinese Soil & Plant Scientists in North America (ACSPSNA)
